Monday, May 3, marks the beginning of a week-long fundraising effort for a new Regent Street playground!
Plans to refurbish the playground have been on hiatus since the pandemic began. This DanceFit event will offer a day filled with energy, movement, and fun to hopefully raise the first half of our $20,000 playground goal.
The Hudson Montessori Volunteers and DanceFit have coordinated five days of curriculum that uses children's stories from around the U.S. to illustrate athleticism and character-building values like teamwork and courage.
On Wednesday, May 12, students will participate in the DanceFit danceathon, a 35-minute event complete with fun video prompts and popular Just Dance video game hosts. Anyone—friends, family, local business or community members— can pledge to sponsor a student for a chosen dollar amount per minute or make a flat donation to help sponsor the school’s playground plans.
All children—whether they get pledges or not—will still participate in all the fun of the spirit week and danceathon.
Hudson Montessori School is grateful for the support and generosity of our staff, families, and community. Thank you for your willingness to help our school fundraise for a new Regent Street playground!
