Upper Elementary Students Put On Spanish Play: “Patricia Va a California”

To display the results of their yearlong immersive Spanish class, the Upper Elementary Comet class performed a play entirely in Spanish that was developed with their Spanish teacher Ms. Lucretia Paredes. "Patricia Va a California" is a short story of a Guatemalan girl who becomes a foreign exchange student in the United States and the ensuing exchange of culture and ideas. Every student had a role, with many speaking parts, and everyone sang in the 15-minute show.
