February’s Maker Month Celebrations Continue

Hudson Montessori students are keeping busy as the school continues to celebrate our student makers throughout February Maker Month. So far we have hosted a kickoff night and a virtual Maker Night, learned about origami-inspired robots by Dr. Daniel Rus, Director of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at MIT, and enjoyed several elementary student presentations.

The Upper Elementary students will begin attending Columbia University’s weekly webcasts that focus on earth, climate change, and clean energy. The next 90-minute webcast will be held Sunday, Feb. 21.

Students are continuing to “make” a difference in the lives of blood cancer patients through this month’s fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The students and staff of Hudson Montessori School are so thankful for the generosity of our friends, families, and community. We will continue collecting donations through Feb. 26.

Please consider donating to one of our Upper Elementary students’ individual fundraising page or our school fundraising page.
