Hudson Montessori School's Middle School students ventured on an adventure at Camp Speers at Dingmans Ferry in the Pocono Mountains. They tackled challenges like the "Leap of Faith" and the Giant's Ladder, enjoyed the lake in canoes, honed their archery skills, and even came together to protect fragile eggs from a daunting 12-foot drop.
They also went on a guided Night Hike that they reported was both eerie and entertaining. The hike made them rely on teamwork to navigate twists, rocky terrain, and puddles in the pitch-black darkness.
Students exemplified the camp's fundamental values throughout their stay, showcasing responsibility, respect, caring, and honesty—with loads of bonding and team building over three days.
