Students and staff have been excitedly preparing today’s kickoff of school spirit week! Each year, our parent volunteers help plan a week full of fun dress-up days, a teacher appreciation celebration, and a danceathon fundraiser right before leaving for spring break. Tomorrow, we will honor our teachers by providing lunch and gifts delivered by classroom parents, and our students will be dressing up as their favorite teachers from the past and present!
The danceathon on Thursday is the school’s primary annual fundraiser providing for many enrichment materials for our students. This year, our school has set a goal of $15,000 to fund items for students across all age levels, ranging from indoor and outdoor play equipment, tumbling mats, a new basketball hoop, a large fish tank and supplies, a chicken coop, a laptop cart, and so much more. Click here to visit our school-wide donations page.
Regardless of whether a child gets pledges or not, all of our children will be dancing and are looking forward to tons of fun with their friends for spirit week. Based on last year's danceathon, we know they will have a blast dancing their hearts out.
The week focuses on fun, community building, and school spirit! Hudson Montessori School is grateful for the continued support and generosity of our teachers, students, families, community, and school leadership team. Thank you for your willingness to help our school fundraise to offer our students new enriching learning experiences at every step of their educational journey.
