Hudson Montessori School welcomed over 1,000 people—children, their families, teachers, and guests—to our 16th Annual Social Studies Fair and Street Carnival this weekend. We transformed our school into a Museum of Wonders, a student-created experience, featuring 12 interactive galleries.

Each classroom showcased hands-on exhibits exploring fascinating topics like Space, Architecture, Innovations in Communication, and Energy. Children from our school and the wider community participated in the Museum Quest Game, earning a collectible charm in each gallery. The more a child participated, the greater their chance of being entered for a fantastic list of raffle prizes, including a free, three-week summer camp session at our school.

Outside on Regent Street, the street carnival was alive with color, music, yummy food, and laughter. Families enjoyed free bouncy houses, balloon art, and face painting by lively clown entertainers. Local food trucks served local tasty favorites, while our community partners hosted creative activity tables.

Incredible events like our annual Social Studies Fair would not be possible without the dedicated collaboration of our teachers, staff, families, and Hudson Montessori Volunteer members. We also thank our leading sponsor, Provident Bank, and Liberty Harbor, our location host. This year’s community sponsors enabled us to offer 21 fantastic prizes for children who completed the Museum Quest Game.

Twenty-one Hudson Montessori student award winners from academic contests throughout the school year pulled the winning raffle tickets for all the donated prizes from local community partners during our Maker Monday weekly assembly. The list of raffle winners can be found here. Our community sponsors included:

Thank you to our food vendors for fueling the fun throughout the day:
