Summer Camp 2026: Enroll Now!

The summer camp at Hudson Montessori School offers a season of fun for a wide range of ages—from toddlers to elementary-age students. Our camps are tailored to every age group and feature unique themes with new lessons for every camper. Each age level enjoys water play, with elementary-age students swimming daily in the rooftop pool and younger students enjoying water sprinklers and sensory water activities. As an added benefit, our camp immerses each student in the wonders of the Montessori learning style.

Half-day, full-day, and extended-day options are available for toddler and primary campers. Elementary campers have a full day schedule of activities. Here are the highlights from each camp:

Toddler Camp (Age 2-3)

Our Toddler Camp features three exciting sessions. 

• In the first session, campers will become mini marine biologists as they discover ocean life and learn how water covers much of our planet. 

• Session two invites children to explore the animals and environments of the savanna. 

• Our final session shows the incredible ways people and animals travel by land, air, and sea.

  
  

Teachers guide children through hands-on activities that develop early math, language, sensory, and practical life skills. Our youngest campers also enjoy daily outdoor play, games,  gardening, water sprinkler play, and more.

Primary Camp (3s to rising Kindergarteners)

Primary campers (ages 3 to rising kindergarteners) will spend the summer exploring plant growth, constructing buildings, and exploring the theme of predators and prey! 

• In the first session, campers will discover the garden's hidden world. 

• Session two will focus on the engineering feats of buildings, bridges, and tunnels. 

• The last camp session reveals the fascinating web of the food chain and how both predators and prey have evolved and triumphed. 

  
  

Each session includes crafts, games, walks around Van Vorst Playground, and water sprinkler fun.

Elementary Camp (rising 1st through 5th graders)

The Elementary Maker's camp (rising 1st through 5th graders) focuses on the many games people play. 

• Session one focuses on the “Game of STEAM!” Campers will tackle challenges that blend science, technology, engineering, art, and math as they design, build, and code their way through inventive games they create. 

• The second session is all about team spirit and the lessons our campers can learn from teamwork. 

• Our last session is about types of games people play. From backyards and playgrounds to living rooms and dining tables, campers will experience games enjoyed across cultures and generations.

  
  

Throughout each session, at every age level, campers develop their critical thinking through hands-on projects, group lessons, and exciting field trips every Friday.
