Maker Faire FAQ
Maker Faire FAQ
The Maker Faire is a global initiative encouraging thinkers and doers around the world to “make” or create and innovate for the future. School Maker Faires are collaborative, innovative, generative, and fun. These in-school events celebrate invention, creativity, and resourcefulness. Students can show what they’ve made and share what they’ve learned with others. Hudson Montessori is the only school to host a School Maker Faire in New Jersey.
The Maker Faire student registration/project proposal form can be found here: Google Form(https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1xNTFfTqwo8TBHKHFKxN8t0Ml0mNcglpmwaYMgomOtU8/edit)

On the day of Maker Faire, your child will be told their booth number and location at check-in.
The Maker Faire runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Pancake Breakfast starts at 8 a.m. and runs until 11 a.m. You should be able to find the time to accommodate both.
You may not. All teachers have responsibilities on the day of the event and will not be available for student supervision at all times.
Each maker is tasked with presenting their project to at least two adults, two teachers, and two peers! So be on the lookout and engage our eager makers who want to show you their projects.
Hudson Montessori School was the first nationally-certified STEM elementary school by the National Institute for STEM Education in 2019. As a STEAM-based school we infuse our entire curriculum with science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math, and encourage our children to get excited by these topics and share their passion with others.
