The Hudson Montessori School Alumni Network connects graduates of our Middle School program with the school, their former classmates, teachers, and the generations of students who follow them.
Our alumni return throughout the year to volunteer, participate in community service, attend school events, and share their experiences with current students. As former Hudson Montessori students, they offer a unique perspective on the transition to high school and beyond, and serve as mentors, ambassadors, and an important part of our school community.

Our alumni network brings together graduates, school leadership, teachers, and parent volunteers. Parents of alumni also remain an important part of the community, creating opportunities to reconnect and build relationships for work, home, and life beyond Hudson Montessori.
What connects us all is the unique Hudson Montessori experience: a love of learning rooted in Montessori philosophy, hands-on discovery, independence, and a deeply integrated STEAM approach.

I have been at HMS since I was 2 years old, and it has been a wonderful experience. I loved every moment here and value the connections that I made at this school. It's bittersweet leaving, knowing what’s ahead of me and what I’m leaving behind, but I know I will enjoy every single moment I’m given. From primary school through 8th grade, I have made friends, had good times, and done amazing things. To everybody who has helped me on my journey, thank you.

I have been at HMS for five years, where I’ve grown as a student and a leader. From being an essential part of the basketball team to leading the math team, I’ve worked to make a positive impact on the school. I’ve also cared for our classroom trout, raising several groups from fish eggs to adulthood. I enjoy bringing humor into the classroom, making sure that the class is full of laughter. I will miss recess and gym the most.

I have been at Hudson Montessori for two years, which is less than some of my fellow eighth graders, but the memories I've made here are unforgettable. During my time here, the friends I've made and the teachers I've met have all treated me with compassion and respect. I think the main thing I learned from this school is how to manage my responsibilities while feeling encouraged to take on more. I had a lot of personal connections with my teachers, and they let me figure out my work in my own way, with them always supporting me. If you’re lost or confused, they always help you through it, judgment-free.

I will miss HMS so dearly, especially since I’ve been here for almost my whole life. I enjoyed the summer camp and have done it every year for as long as I attended HMS. Throughout my time at Hudson Montessori School, I enjoyed the after-school art class with Ms. Nicole. I’ve gone to MMUN so many times, and I will absolutely miss going to NYC and making friends there. I will also miss my friends and the teachers who were there with me throughout Sunny Yellow, Ocean Blue, Galaxy, Comet, and Middle School. My time here has come to an end; it's now time to graduate and move on to high school!

I’ve been at HMS for about 11 years, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to grow up. Each year brought new experiences, opportunities, and a lot of great memories. All of it has helped shape who I am today. Along the way, I’ve built really close friendships with both students and teachers, and those relationships mean a lot to me. HMS didn’t just help me academically—it also taught me important life skills that I’ll carry with me moving forward. I’m really proud to say I went to HMS, and I’ll always appreciate the time I spent here.

One of my proudest moments was winning the STEM Showcase three years in a row with Rea; it showed how much hard work and teamwork can really pay off. It’s kind of wild to think I’ve spent 11 years of my life at Hudson Montessori, and now it’s finally coming to an end. From primary to middle school, HMS has always felt like a second home. Over the years, I’ve made unforgettable memories with my friends, from laughing in class to working through challenges together. This school has helped me grow both academically and as a person. If you told me I’ve been at this school for 12 years, I wouldn’t believe you. I have so many amazing memories here, from pre-K through 8th grade. Hudson Montessori has always felt like my home.
