A Summer of Discovery at Hudson Montessori

Summer at Hudson Montessori School is filled with exploration, creativity, and plenty of outdoor fun! Our summer camp program welcomes children from toddlers through elementary age and offers engaging themes, hands-on activities, and the opportunity to experience learning the Montessori way.

Each camp is thoughtfully designed for a specific age group and is chock full of activities that spark curiosity and encourage discovery. From science and nature exploration to creative building and teamwork challenges, every session brings new lessons and experiences for campers. At the same time, children enjoy fun in the sun with daily outdoor time and water activities. Elementary campers swim each day in our rooftop pool, while younger campers cool off with sprinklers and sensory water play.

One of the most unique aspects of our camp is that children stay immersed in the Montessori learning environment throughout the summer. Our experienced teachers guide campers through activities that encourage independence, creativity, and collaboration, helping children continue learning even while school is out.

Camp Options for Every Age

Toddler Camp (Ages 2–3)

Our youngest campers explore the world through hands-on discovery and sensory learning. Throughout the summer, toddlers dive into exciting themes such as ocean life, the animals of the savanna, and the many ways people and animals travel by land, air, and sea. Teachers guide children through activities that build early math, language, sensory, and practical life skills. Daily outdoor play, gardening, games, and water sprinkler fun keep our youngest campers active and engaged.

Primary Camp (Ages 3 to Rising Kindergarten)

Primary campers spend the summer exploring nature, engineering, and the fascinating relationships found in the natural world. Sessions focus on discovering hidden life in the garden, building structures like bridges and tunnels, and learning about predators and prey in the food chain. Campers also enjoy arts and crafts, games, neighborhood walks, and water play throughout the summer.

Elementary Camp (Rising 1st–5th Grade)

Elementary campers take part in an exciting Maker Camp with a game-themed focus. From designing STEAM-inspired challenges to learning teamwork through collaborative games and exploring traditional games from around the world, each session encourages creativity and critical thinking. Campers also take part in hands-on projects, group activities, and exciting Friday field trips.

We offer half-day, full-day, and extended-day options for toddler and primary campers, while elementary campers participate in a full-day program filled with activities and exploration.

Summer camp at Hudson Montessori is all about creating joyful memories while keeping children active and excited. With caring, experienced, credentialed teachers leading enriching activities and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment, campers spend their days exploring new ideas, building friendships, and having fun.

We look forward to welcoming your child for a summer of discovery. Enroll today to secure your spot!

I recently tried the Rice Purity Test and found it surprisingly engaging. It’s not just about the score but about thinking through different life experiences. It can spark interesting conversations and help people understand themselves better in a relaxed and non-judgmental way.
