Annual Camp Mason Adventure was a Great Success!

Our Middle School students had an unforgettable three days at Camp Mason! From hikes and canoeing to wilderness survival training, archery, and high ropes courses, our sixth-, seventh-, and eighth-graders eagerly embraced every challenge. This annual tradition is a highlight of the year, offering students the chance to step outside the classroom, connect with nature, and build lasting memories. At Hudson Montessori School, we value making the world our classroom, and experiences like this bring learning to life.

What makes this trip so meaningful is how each adventure fosters teamwork, courage, and resilience. By cheering on their classmates, solving group challenges, and sharing laughs around the campfire, students strengthened friendships and deepened their sense of community. Trips like Camp Mason are just one way that we offer our students opportunities that spark curiosity, build confidence, and nurture character. As they return home, students carry with them memories of fun and adventure, and experience personal growth that will last far beyond this trip.

Hudson Montessori School, located in downtown Jersey City, serves children aged 2 to 8th grade. The teachers use an interdisciplinary, theme-based learning approach to education, grounded in the Montessori philosophy and methodology, to foster a love of learning in its students. Its STEM-certified campus is the only one of its kind in New Jersey, featuring STEM-certified teachers who meet the highest standards set by the National Institute for STEM Education.
