Hudson Montessori Students Prepare for Unforgettable Adventures at Camp Mason

Our Middle School students are getting ready for one of the most exciting traditions of the year: their three-day adventure at Camp Mason! Nestled in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, this annual trip is a highlight for our Hudson Montessori School students. Each year, this trip allows students to step outside the classroom and immerse themselves in nature, teamwork, and personal growth.

Throughout their stay, students will explore through outdoor challenges and adventures that encourage them to try new things, push their comfort zones, and support one another. From paddling across the lake in canoes to aiming in archery to climbing high ropes courses, each experience builds resilience, courage, and confidence.

What makes this trip truly special is how it combines fun and adventure with invaluable lessons in character development. Whether they are encouraging a classmate to push through a challenge, working together to solve creative group activities, or simply sharing laughter and stories around the camp, these values will shine through every moment.

We can’t wait to see the memories, friendships, and growth that this year’s Camp Mason trip will bring.

Hudson Montessori School, located in downtown Jersey City, serves children aged 2 to 8th grade. The school uses an interdisciplinary, theme-based learning approach to education, grounded in the Montessori philosophy and methodology, to foster a love of learning in its students. Its STEM-certified campus is the only one of its kind in New Jersey, featuring STEM-certified teachers who meet the highest standards set by the National Institute for STEM Education.
