We are thrilled to announce that our students, Alexandra B. (a Middle School alumna) and Mira S. (8th grade), have achieved a remarkable feat by placing in the top 300 entries at the Thermo-Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge, a prestigious nationwide science competition. This is a testament to the quality of education and the nurturing environment provided by our dedicated teaching staff.
Alexandra and Mira presented their project on The Effects of Floating Wetlands on Water Quality. We are proud of their accomplishments and excited to see how they can further their vital research. Hudson Montessori School is the first and only STEM-certified school in New Jersey at the elementary and middle school level by the National Institute for STEM Education.
The value of being a STEAM school (we include the “A” for arts) is evident in our students' strong desire to learn more. Each child is engaged, making real-world connections, and understanding concepts that form the foundation for analytical learning in their later schooling years.
