Our Voices, Our Future: Middle Schoolers Present Impressive Slate of TED Talks

Middle Schoolers presented “Our Voices, Our Future” at our annual TED Talks, an event led by our newest Middle Schoolers, who chose topics close to their hearts. This event celebrates “curiosity, courage, and the belief that ideas, no matter who shares them, have the power to shape our future.”
After many weeks of preparation to construct, design, and deliver a TED Talk, each presentation provided students with invaluable public-speaking practice, supported by their classmates and families.
Events like our school TED Talks instill the confidence our students need to share their ideas with our school community and beyond.

Hudson Montessori School, located in downtown Jersey City, serves children from ages 2 through 8th grade. The teachers use an interdisciplinary, theme-based learning approach grounded in Montessori philosophy and methodology to foster students' love of learning. Its STEM-certified campus is the only one of its kind in New Jersey, featuring STEM-certified teachers who meet the highest standards set by the National Institute for STEM Education. The school welcomes parents to an open house to learn more about its programs.
