Hudson Montessori School is thrilled to announce that six of our outstanding Middle School students (four are recent 8th grade graduates) have been nominated for the 2025 Thermo Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge. This prestigious award is the premier national STEM competition for Middle School students. Congratulations to Seher Khetpal (8th grade), Avi Mehandru (8th grade), Mia Lightman (7th grade), Rea Ramavat (7th grade), Kaelyn Sanvictores (8th grade), and Mira Strzodka (8th grade).
This nomination places their science projects in the top 10% nationwide, a remarkable achievement that speaks to their creativity, hard work, and passion for scientific discovery. On September 3, the Top 300 Junior Innovators in the country will be announced, followed by the selection of the top 30 finalists on September 17. Should any of our students advance as finalists, they will travel to Washington, DC, in October for a week of immersive STEM experiences, national recognition, and the chance to win prestigious prizes, including a $25,000 grand prize and exclusive STEM opportunities.
We are incredibly proud of our students’ hard work and dedication to science. This is an extraordinary accomplishment. Stay tuned as we continue to follow their journey and celebrate our student innovators!
